Working In Partnership to develop Future Sport Leaders
Sporting Equals will be working with Youth Sport Trust to launch its Future Sports Leader project at the SELeaderboard event on the 22nd November 2016. The project will help support young people from Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds to take on decision making roles and build skills as future sport leaders.
The project will seek to engage young people aged 15-18 from BAME communities to shape sport and physical activity in their schools and communities. The catalyst for development will be a Future Sport Leaders conference which will take place on 10thFebruary in Manchester, this will provide the platform for building skills and confidence through interactive workshops, inspiring key notes and action based planning to help support a new generation of talent.
Further information about the event can be found by visiting the website for additional information and the link to apply- https://www.youthsporttrust.org/future-sport-leaders
