Sign Up to the Sporting Equals Charter
The Charter was launched at the Race Equality and Ethnic Diversity - Charter for Change event held at Pinsent Masons, London on the 25th March 2019. Organisation's from across the sport and physical activity industry were asked to sign up in an effort to support action and change.

Why is this Charter needed?
Sporting Equals and wider sector research highlights that people from black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities still encounter significant disparities in participation, employment, volunteering and leadership when it comes to sport and physical activity. Greater progress, positive action and outcomes are now needed to ensure all organisations benefit from the wealth of diverse talent on offer.
We hope that by creating this charter, we can cast a spotlight on these issues, setting out a simple and effective framework that will enable us collectively to work towards a sport and physical activity sector that is representative and inclusive.
How can I find out more?
Our new website will launch in mid-May 2019, on which, you will be able to pledge and sign up to the Charter electronically. For now, to receive a copy of the Charter and to find out more, email Nik Trivedi (Director of Development)
