The Football Association (The FA) is the governing body of football in England. We are responsible for promoting and developing the game at all levels; from grassroots through to the professional game, The Emirates FA Cup and the England international teams. We have two core assets: Wembley Stadium and St. George's Park.

To deliver against our goal we have reallocated resources and invested heavily in developing a team of exceptional people capable of creating winning England teams at our world-class training facilities at St. George's Park in Staffordshire. This is a unique and exciting time to join The FA and the Technical Team will be integral to the organisation achieving its goals.

The Role

Based at the FA's Processing Centre in Stafford, the Processing Centre Coordinator will be to work as part of a team to provide kit, equipment, medical supplies and other items for all England Teams and events as requested and to the standard expected of a World Class operation.

Please note, this role is advertised on a part time basis working 3 days per week. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • To work well as part of a team to accurately pick and pack kit, equipment, medical supplies and other items for all England Teams and events as requested and according to schedule
  • To wash, dry, fold and stack laundry items according to laundry SOP.
  • Part of a team responsible for the effective movement of goods in and out of the Processing Centre as per schedule
  • Collation and distribution of redundant stock and when necessary
  • Report stock levels to Stock Control Officer (approved by Processing Centre Officer)
  • Work with SGP's onsite laundry s and when.
  • To be fully aware with site Health & Safety regulations and requirements
  • Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings to do with workflow, prioritization and scheduling.
  • Establish a good rapport with all internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.

  • A desire to want to be part of a world class operation,
  • Experience of Processing Centre/Pick and Pack/Laundry environment,
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines/outputs,
  • Extensive experience of Microsoft Office,
  • High level of numeracy,
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
