Our Organisation

The Football Association (The FA) is the governing body of football in England. We are responsible for promoting and developing the game at all levels; from grass roots through to the professional game, The Emirates FA Cup and the England International teams, and has two core assets: Wembley Stadium and St George's Park.

The Role

To develop a clear 'routes to market' acquisition strategy for new business leads to achieve department targets as well as raising brand awareness of the high end and premium experience products.

Please note, this role is advertised on a fixed term basis for up to a period of 12 months.

Key Accountabilities

Planning:

  • Define and execute overall Club Wembley acquisition strategy for seasonal and ad-hoc events for all premium and high-end experiences.
  • Deliver high quality acquisition leads for Club Wembley Sales Team.
  • Development and delivery of acquisition CRM campaigns; working closely with the CRM manager.
  • Work with the Club Wembley media agency to deliver overall awareness for Club Wembley.
  • Work with Club Wembley appointed agency (where required) and the CRM Manager to drive acquisition through CRM campaigns.

 

Delivery:

  • Responsible for Club Wembley awareness through media channels.
  • Responsible for driving leads through partnerships.
  • Responsible for the development of all Club Wembley creative for media activity.
  • Responsible for the development of relevant Club Wembley content to drive acquisition through appropriate channels.
  • Execution of strategic Club Wembley Acquisitions campaign in congruence with Club Wembley's retention and loyalty strategy.
  • Development and on-going management of the Club Wembley Acquisition website and ownership of the customer journey.

 

Insight and Reporting:

  • Understand the Club Wembley audience, current and future and deliver insights to drive acquisition.
  • Use of and reporting on all digital activity and insights gained from clubwembley.com analysis.
  • Use of key audience profiling to target potential Club Wembley members.
  • Weekly reporting on all acquisition activity including digital tracking to determine ROI and measurement of effectiveness.
  • Reporting of all acquisition activity on a daily and weekly basis to all relevant Club Wembley stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Operations and SMT, including cost of sale and return on investment.
  • Share regular updates around industry best practice in the Premium Events/Lifestyle space.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand audience segmentation and produce relevant campaigns.
  • Proven track record for developing and delivery of acquisition strategies, with an emphasis on digital campaigns including SEO.
  • Demonstrate good understanding of acquisition best practices within the premium and high end forum.
  • A Digital Marketing background with an understanding of hospitality programmes.
  • Managing budgets in excess of £1m.
  • Use of Google Analytics.
  • Good knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Qualification in either CRM, Marketing, Data or other role related qualification.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, (thorough knowledge of Excel an advantage)
