Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Qualifications & Quality Manager to join our Qualifications team on a permanent full time basis (Monday - Friday 35 hours per week) with the location being a hybrid of home working and working alongside the team at our office in SportPark, Loughborough, Leicestershire.
Do you want to work as part of a busy regulated Awarding Organisation? You will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of regulatory and quality assurance activities both internally and externally, including across centres and products, in line with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Head of Qualifications & Quality your responsiblities will include:
- Acting as Deputy Responsible Officer in the absence of the Head of providing regulatory guidance and recommendations
- Effectively managing a small team with responsibility for quality and product delivery
- Develop, monitor and regularly review relevant quality and product policies, procedures, guidance and targets in order to meet regulatory requirements and operational objectives.
- Undertake quality assurance reviews of products
- Investigate irregularities that threaten the integrity of awarding including cases of internal and external malpractice in line with policies and regulation

About You
To be successfully shortlisted for this role, you will:
· Have an in depth understanding of qualification design, development, delivery and assessment, specifically in regard to vocational technical qualifications
· Have a comprehensive understanding of Quality Assurance policies and procedures within education, specifically vocational technical education
· Have experience within a quality based management role within the education sector
· Hold an assessment and / or teaching qualification such as PGCE, PTLLs, D32 / D33, A1 or equivalent with evidence of current and relevant continued professional development
