About The Role

We are looking for a friendly individual, with previous experience as an IT Helpdesk Administrator to join our team, initially on a 3 month temporary basis with the possibility of the role becoming permanent, based on the needs of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity working within the IT Department. As part of a busy team the successful candidate will provide an excellent standard of IT support to all in-house and remote users. You will be the first point of contact service for the IT Department, effectively resolving queries relating to IT and Telecomms issues in a timely manner and escalating calls and queries to 2nd line support as required.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for carrying out daily back up checks and maintenance of our IT systems, prioritising issues received to the helpdesk and managing customer expectations, maintaining and updating the asset register of IT equipment and ensuring the provision of new equipment according to the specification required.

With the Birmingham Commonwealth Games this year and swimming's growing popularity, there's never been a better time to join us. If you are looking to wake up every day with a passion for making a difference, then this could be your next role!
