Community Activator East London (Project based in Barking & Dagenham)

Salary - £120 per day (flexible hours) - Up to 8 to 20 hours per week

Sporting Equals is a national charity established to promote ethnic diversity in sport and physical activity. We are seeking an experienced activator in East London with local links to help support our projects.

You will have some understanding of working in the sport and voluntary sector supporting projects working in partnership with agencies along with excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse audiences. A passion for race equality is important and an understanding of community engagement and the key barriers facing ethnically diverse communities.

A flexible approach to work is required as evening and weekend working will be required.
