About Us
British Canoeing is the UK Governing Body for Paddlesports. We have had many advances in our sport and canoeing now covers a wide range of interests and passions as a sport and a leisure activity for all. We want to support and provide opportunities for everyone to enjoy and realise their potential within all aspects of canoeing regardless of their age, background or ability.

The Role
This role represents a fantastic opportunity to join British Canoeing as we look to deliver on our 2024 ambitions and implement our strategy for future success beyond into the L.A. cycle. British Canoeing looks to take a person centred approach with everything we do and places high value on coach athlete relationships, values and teamwork in developing athlete performance.

Working principally from the Lee Valley High Performance Centre, the purpose of the post is to work specifically with two of our Podium level athletes The role also has the scope to continue beyond Paris as new athletes come through for L.A. It will involve working as part an exceptional coaching team operating a world class environment and working with the best sports science and medicine practitioners in house to maximise consistent high level performance on the world stage.

The candidate must have exceptional coaching experience at elite senior international level with a track record of success with athletes at World and Olympic events. It is essential that the candidate has an extensive slalom knowledge in Canoe, Kayak and Extreme discipline's. They will need to develop individualised performance plans targeting senior Championship delivery each year and build a plan towards medal success in Paris 2024.

Working Pattern: Full time, 37 Hours per week
