British Canoeing is the UK Governing Body for Paddlesports. We have had many advances in our sport and canoeing now covers a wide range of interests and passions as a sport and a leisure activity for all. We want to support and provide opportunities for everyone to enjoy and realise their potential within all aspects of canoeing regardless of their age, background or ability.
Members are at the heart of everything we do and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering a positive and welcoming experience for members along with experience of using databases would be advantageous.
Supporting over 90,000 members, you will need to demonstrate a broad range of skills and competencies. You will have a keen attention to detail, be well organised and friendly along with having excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate a positive experience for our members across all communication systems.
This is a varied role within the membership team and day to day tasks include helping new members get started and signposting to services we offer, processing membership payments, updating membership records, supporting fulfilment and initiating outbound calls to potential and existing members.
Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours
Closing Date: Thursday 3rd February 2022
