Job Description

Members are at the heart of everything we do and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering a positive and welcoming experience for members.

Supporting over 90,000 members, you will need to demonstrate a broad range of skills and competencies. You will have a keen attention to detail, be well organised and friendly along with having excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of using CRM databases would be advantageous but full training will be provided.

This is a varied role within the membership team and day to day tasks include helping new members get started and signposting to services we offer, processing membership payments, updating membership records, supporting fulfilment and initiating outbound calls to potential and existing members. This role is based at the British Canoeing offices at National Water Sports Centre in the Holme Pierrepont Country Park. We are currently exploring how hybrid working can benefit the organisation so we would expect a minimum of 2 days in the office with flexibility around days being essential.
