About Us

British Canoeing is the UK Governing Body for Paddlesports. We have had many advances in our sport and canoeing now covers a wide range of interests and passions as a sport and a leisure activity for all. We want to support and provide opportunities for everyone to enjoy and realise their potential within all aspects of canoeing regardless of their age, background or ability.

The Role

The Digital Support Officer is a varied role. It will act as a focal point to design and develop in-house training and documentation for in-house built systems. The role will also act as a general web admin and as 1st and 2nd line support for system users, as well as organising and managing user testing.

Tasks include:

  • Troubleshoot SSO login issues by email, live chat and phone
  • Train and support staff on Wordpress across a range of websites in person and online
  • Create, develop, and manage user support documentation
  • Administer, support, and train users on our event management system
  • Create and manage in-site e-forms based on organisational need
  • Administer email address changes, and web page updates
  • Organise and manage user groups for user testing and feedback
  • Complete admin tasks designated on the digital ticketing system
  • Manage and maintain lists on in-house mail system PaddleMail
  • Plot waterways on and help administer PaddlePoints paddle routes system

Working Pattern: Full Time / Flexible
