Active Notts, working with One Nottingham and Nottingham City Council, is looking for a high calibre individual to provide strategic leadership to reduce inactivity and increase levels of physical activity across Nottingham. The role, funded by Sport England, will be responsible for leading the design and development of an approach that is focused on the needs of people and communities and encourages a wide range of partners and organisations to engage, connect and work more effectively together to address inactivity within the city.
As set out in local and national strategies, our aim is to create transformational change in the way we collectively address inactivity – using insight, engagement, behaviour change and a whole system approach (considering environmental and cultural change) to make physical activity and sport the norm for people who live, work, or study in the city of Nottingham.
If you can influence at the highest level, think critically, engage a range of partners around a shared purpose, and are committed to making a difference then please visit www.activepartnerstrust.org.uk for more information and to view the job description and person specification for the role and download an application form.
