JOB DESCRIPTION

A unique learning opportunity and a role where you can deliver measurable impact doing good work. That is what we can offer you in this digital communications role with the Youth Sport Trust. We are all about changing lives through sport.  We are skilled in the use of physical education, physical activity and sport to unlock young people's potential. The School Games is an inter and intra-school competition for young people aged 7-18 years-old and is a key programme in our work. We want you to build on your expertise by delivering great digital communications to ensure the Games continue to be a great success.

In this role, you will manage the digital marketing strategy for the School Games website and create and deliver a range of e-communications to engage with new and existing users as well as produce hot content. You will oversee the day-to-day running and ongoing development of the website, and operate as lead liaison with web agency. This will involve ensuring structure and content fits organisational needs and connects with website users. You will produce website analytics and reporting for internal and external stakeholders too. Important will be the ability to grow the Schools Game brand through PR campaigns, spotting media opportunities and through utilising social media. You will also support our School Games National Finals website and act as a point of contact and support to the other School Games microsites and partners.

You must have experience of working on a variety of websites and multimedia projects. This will have given you strong writing skills and the ability to communicate with varying audiences. You will be comfortable producing films and podcasts too. You will have been involved in co-ordinating work with external suppliers and will be familiar with working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver web and communication projects. If you have an understanding of applying and policing house style and corporate identities online so much the better.

Your technical expertise will be matched by good communication, interpersonal and project management skills. In addition, you will be highly organised, good at prioritising and detail orientated.
Join our team and enjoy benefits including 30 days' holiday plus bank holidays and pension contribution of 5% of basic salary and childcare vouchers. To apply please visit our website and apply online at: http://jobs.youthsporttrust.org
