A unique opportunity to be at the epicentre of the Equestrian World Class Programme and its preparations for the 2017 European Championships, World Equestrian Games 2018, 2019 European Championships and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
We are looking for a collaborative team player with a significant understanding and experience of overall project management processes to join the Equestrian World Class team. Reporting into the Head of Performance Operations, the Performance Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting and/or the delivery of all operational and logistical aspects of World Class Programme competitions and events.
The successful candidate will need to have outstanding organisational forward-planning and stakeholder management skills, with exceptional attention to detail, working to consistently high standards. Tenacity and the ability to influence, negotiate and drive through results is essential.
Candidates should have experience working in complex project management, ideally in a performance operations/logistics delivery role in the high performance sporting system. A good knowledge of the equestrian sport horse environment would be beneficial.
The position is a permanent full time employee role, based at our offices at Abbey Park, Stareton, Warwickshire, with potential to progress into the Head of Performance Operations role. The contract will include a competitive salary plus pension and health insurance in accordance with the BEF's normal terms and conditions of employment.
