British Gymnastics is on a roll. Participation and membership are rising, our fan base is growing, and our medal-winning British Team has never been so prolific. As one of the most successful sports governing bodies in the UK, we are thrilled with what's been achieved. This really is a remarkable time to be involved in gymnastics, and we are very proud of the part we have played in driving the development, delivery, promotion and success of the sport. This success has also seen more opportunities to create partnerships, and we are looking for someone who can manage and grow our sponsor and partner relationships.
This is a multifaceted role that will see you collaborating with a range of subject matter experts, from across the British Gymnastics organisation, to drive outcomes for our sponsors and partners. It will be varied, busy and fast moving, and you will need to balance protecting the interests of British Gymnastics, with ensuring that our partners get real value out of their relationship with us.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Being the first point of contact for sponsors and partners, managing their expectations, responding to their enquiries and needs
Understanding and monitoring contractual obligations, working with colleagues from across BG to communicate requirements and ensure activations are co-ordinated and delivered
Scoping, designing, costing and measuring activations and campaigns
Researching and presenting data and reports to support partner retention and new partner acquisition
Handling in-coming brand activation enquiries and preparing responses etc.
The ideal individual will have/be able to demonstrate skills and experience for:
Marketing campaign development, delivery and monitoring
Managing sponsorship contracts and benefits
Project management, time management and financial planning
Team leadership, networking and negotiation
Campaign, market and competitor analysis
Managing own administration
It is anticipated that applicants will have professional marketing and/or business qualifications and a full UK driving licence.
