Have you got the skills to help shape the future of Great Britain's most inspirational sports team? The British Paralympic Association is a charity which selects the ParalympicsGB team and creates a world class environment to enable the athletes to reach their full potential at summer and winter Games. We know that the outstanding performances of our athletes have a powerful impact on the British public and can shift perceptions of disability in society, helping to inspire a better world for disabled people.  Now we are looking for an independent Trustee and are particularly interested in candidates who can draw on their commercial experience, or their knowledge of income generation and fundraising. The BPA is actively looking to increase the diversity of the Board by encouraging applications from those who are disabled, female and from a black or minority ethnic background.

The BPA is fully committed to the principles of the equality of opportunity. It is responsible for ensuring that no applicant receives less favourable treatment, on the grounds of age, colour, disability, ethnic minority, parental or marital status, nationality, religious belief, gender, social status or sexual preference, than any other.
