JOB DESCRIPTION

UK Athletics (UKA), the National governing body for the premier Olympic and Paralympic sport of athletics has a vacancy for NPI Service Co-ordinator to support the successful implementation of the WCPP, through providing administrative support to key Performance areas including Science, Medicine and general NPI operations.


Some key responsibilities of the role are:
 To provide administrative support to Institute staff as required, including collation and circulation of athlete reports, preparation of agenda's and diaries, taking and distribution of minutes, keeping of medical and performance records.
 Providing efficient service around athlete appointments both internally and externally, including booking appointments, typing letters, booking investigations and collating results.
 Liaising with external providers (e.g. suppliers, laboratories, hospitals, radiology departments) to order scans and investigations and collate results as required and ordering of stock and preparation of medical bags and equipment for British Athletics camps and competitions.
 Providing day to day financial support to the Head of Performance Support including dealing with invoices, expenses and raising Purchase Orders.
The candidate will be:
 Fully competent with Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
 Highly experience in administration
 Confident in handling confidential information
 Previous experience working in an elite sports performance or Sports or Science/ environment is desirable.
