JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced researcher/investigator and a self-motivated individual with a passion for grassroots football to support the governance of football in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.  

The successful candidate will work from our highly regarded headquarters in Abingdon and will be responsible for the investigation and processing of misconduct and administering and governing local football through the application of The FA's guidelines and regulations, including the assisting in the registration and sanctioning of affiliated clubs, leagues and referees. 

Reporting in to the Football Services Manager, this post will require an individual who can work as part of a team while managing an individual workload and priorities.  This post requires a professional and highly organised person with a track record of conducting investigations or research into sensitive issues, ideally within a football environment. 

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and will require occasional evening or weekend work.  Applicants must have an understanding of grassroots football and the rules and regulations that govern the game. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to use innovation, initiative and research skills to help preserve and protect grassroots football and its participants.
