FA Inclusion Advisory Board Member
The FA is the governing body for football in England and is primarily responsible for all regulatory aspects of the game, running the England teams, organising The FA Cup and other domestic competitions and developing grassroots football. The FA is a non-profit making organisation with all surpluses being redistributed back into the game.
Inclusion Advisory Board
The IAB acts as the check and balance to The FA's equality, diversity and inclusion work. It comprises of six members and a Chair with collective knowledge and experience of specific aspects of equality, diversity and inclusion such as race; gender equality (not the development of women's football); disability equality (not the development of disability football); mental health; lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and faith communities.
The Inclusion Advisory Board meets at least quarterly and is a sub-committee of the main FA Board. The IAB reports into the FA Board.
The Football Association is seeking to appoint six members of the Inclusion Advisory Board who individually will have a good understanding of a wide range of equality and diversity topics and collectively will have specific expertise in equality, diversity and inclusion topics such as race; gender equality; disability equality; mental health; lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and faith communities.
The main purpose of the Inclusion Advisory Board is to provide guidance on all equality matters at The FA and to monitor the delivery of The FA's equality, diversity and inclusion plan. As part of this role you will:
Appointment will be for a term of two years from November 2017, after which applicants are eligible for reappointment for to a maximum of four times two years.

IAB meetings take place on a quarterly basis and you will be expected to provide support for the executive in delivering specific equality, diversity and inclusion programmes.
IAB meetings are usually on a weekday at Wembley Stadium.
