We are looking for an Administrator to support the Coach Education Development Manager and Resource Officer to produce, maintain and develop a full range of professionally presented and consistently branded resource materials for all Coach, Judge, Teacher, Tutor and Mentor education programmes.
Working alongside the Coach Education Development Manager and Resource Officer responsible for delivering Education Resources, the successful applicant can expect to undertake a range of Administration duties, including:
•Maintaining the library of education resource materials for all Tutor, Coach, Judge, Teacher, Mentor and Volunteer education programme
•Ensuring all current resources (paper and electronic formats) are maintained, updated and developed to the same professional standard, branding and house design
•Using templates in In-design, creating education resource materials for all new and developing Awards
•Supporting the development of on-line learning programmes, researching other sports and education providers to contribute ideas
•Maintaining the coach education area on the BG website, ensuring all course advertising/material is accurate, current and relevant
•Supporting the team with a range of customer service and administration duties, taking telephone calls into the department, updating records, issuing certificates etc.
The ideal individual will have/be able to demonstrate:
•A good working knowledge of IT systems including InDesign, and the use of intranet and internet sites for uploading, storing, updating and publishing resources
•Good written English and attention to detail for typesetting and proof reading
•Good interpersonal skills for co-ordinating/chasing authors for resource content and updates
•Competent administration and customer service skills for supporting colleagues within the coach education team
•And ideally a good understanding of gymnastics and the context, level, audience for education programme resources.
