Kanya King MBE founded and established the MOBO Organisation in 1996 to recognise the outstanding achievements of artists who perform music in genres such as Gospel, Jazz, RnB, Soul, Reggae and Hip Hop.
The MOBO Awards is celebrating its 21st anniversary with a stellar line-up of acts with Tinie Tempah, Craig David and Clean Bandit a few of the stars taking to the stage. The UK's leading celebration of urban music and culture will take place on Friday night at Glasgow's SSE Hydro.

In special recognition features a sporting icon and role model to many females. This year Double Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams will be celebrated alongside Ms Dynamite for paving the way for future generations of talent. Nicola Adams will lay her paving stone in her home town of Leeds where she already has a golden post box.

The Breaking Boundaries Great Get Together
This year Breaking Boundaries, funded Spirit of 2012, the Olympic legacy charity, is partnering with the Jo Cox Foundation to celebrate the Great Get Together from 21st - 23rd June
The LTA has become the first national governing body to sign the new Sporting Equals Charter, which aims to actively promote greater involvement in sport and physical activity among Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.

A 'Call to Action' following the British Asians in Sport and Physical Activity (BASPA) Summit which took place on the 23rd November 2019 in Birmingham. The insight gained from the workshops have been developed into a series of recommendations against the four key themes of elite level sport, coaching, workforce and inactivity.
