The FA, in association with Birmingham City FC, Birmingham County FA, Chelsea FC and Continental Star FC will be delivering the first of a series of Talent Identification competitions for young Asian players. This event forms part of The FA's Bringing Opportunities to Communities plan to increase Asian inclusion in grassroots football. To qualify for this event, your ethnic background must be one of the nationalities/ethnicities within the Asian Football Confederation.
This free event will consist of coaching sessions and small sided games in order to assess the potential of different players. Four winners (one in each age category at Under 9, 10, 11 and 12) will receive a trial opportunity with Birmingham City FC's Academy and the club coach of each winner will be invited to observe coaching sessions with Birmingham City's Academy. Each participant of the competition will receive one free family ticket (two adults and up to three children) for a Birmingham City FC home fixture during the current season.

In keeping with the objective of Bringing Opportunities to Communities, The FA and partners will offer educational presentations/workshops for parents and coaches which will focus on:
All participants will need to provide proof of their age and identity on the day, preferably via an original passport or birth certificate. Any player not providing this will not be admitted to the event with no exception.
