Youth Sport Trust launch Future Sport Leaders Programme at SELeaderBoard Conference 2016
Future Sport Leaders is a programme providing young people aged 15-18 from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities the opportunity to take on decision making roles in their local schools or communities. A national conference will take place on the 10th February in Manchester offering up to 80 young people the chance to be part of interactive workshops to develop their communication, decision making and influencing skills.
The aim, following the conference is that each attendee will take on a decision making role in their school or community with support from a teacher, mentor or coach. At the event, the young people will also hear from motivational speakers across the sporting landscape including former Olympic sprint champion, Jason Gardener.
APPLICATIONS FOR THIS PROJECT ARE NOW CLOSED.
For all enquiries, please make initial contact with us via email.
