The FA's Inclusion and Anti Discrimination Action Plan
The plan highlights the progress made in achieving four core goals: widening football's talent pool, clarifying anti-discrimination regulations and sanctions, instilling confidence in reporting discrimination and increasing knowledge and awareness.
The Action Plan outlines some of the positive steps in 2015-16 with examples of how discrimination has been dealt with effectively in professional and grassroots matches, how mentoring has played a part in under-represented groups securing employment in the game and how they have been dealing with reporting of discrimination. Flagship initiatives such as On Board, the governance training forum for Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) former players, the COACH bursary scheme and the body of work around reporting discrimination, are just some of the highlights.
