Sporting Equals Partner with Sport England to support Tackling Inequalities Fund Distribution
Supported by National Lottery funding, Sport England's Tackling Inequalities Fund aims to reduce the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the widening impact of the inequalities in sport and physical activity. Sport England is working through trusted partners to support community groups working with our priority audiences. The Tackling Inequalities Fund is built on insight from a wide range of sources that clearly showed that not all people were being affected equally by COVID-19.
Many of the audiences being adversely affected were ones already facing inequalities in sport and physical activity. The priority audiences that this investment will support are people from Lower Socio-Economic Groups, Ethnically Diverse Communities, Disabled People and People with Long-Term Health Conditions.
For information on how you can submit a proposal to access the small grants programme we are running please get in touch at info@sportingequals.org.uk
A member of the team will then get in touch regarding the next steps.
