PACE Head Coach Sunil wins UK Community Coach of the Year Award
Congratulations to PACE's Head Coach Sunil Birdy for receiving the prestigious UK Community Coach of the Year Award at the UK Coaching Awards which took place in London last week.
The annual celebration is organised by Sports Coach UK to honour Sports Coaches and Coaching Organisations who have demonstrated outstanding success over the previous 12 months.
Sunil fully deserved this recognition for the amazing work he has done at PACE, providing high quality coaching and training for all his athletes from grassroots to international level. His successful coaching strategies have led to an increase in demand for adapted sports programmes, particularly Boccia, from schools, colleges, disability organisations and corporate organisations right across UK.
Sunil has an innate ability to challenge and bring out the best in all his athletes, regardless of ability levels, ensuring they strive towards fulfilling their potential, overcoming any personal hurdles that may arise by turning the situation around and dealing with them in a positive way.
Well Done Sunil!
