An exciting and unique role in high performance sport is now open for applications. The CEO (National Director) of the English Institute of Sport is one of the most influential leadership roles in sport in the UK. The recruitment process for the new CEO (National Director) will see the appointed individual come in to the EIS in the period between the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer and the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in 2022. This is a crucial time for the EIS and the UK High Performance System.
- To lead the EIS organisation in developing and implementing the organisational strategy to deliver outstanding support to the high performance sports in the UK.
- To work in partnership with key stakeholders in National Governing Bodies, the Home Country Sports Institutes and UK Sport to ensure that our support remains ahead of the game, bringing new thinking as well as excellence in delivery so our GB sports and athletes can excel.
- This is a key leadership role, both internally to the organisation and an advocate externally where success is founded on mutually trusting and respectful relationships.
